Arteria Sterns is the Founder and CEO of Sparkle of Joy, leading initiatives that celebrate and support children in foster care. She brings experience as a foster parent and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education Administration at Lamar University.

Jermaine Sterns is the President of Sparkle of Joy, guiding strategy and outreach to support children in foster care. A husband and father of three, he brings compassion, leadership, and a strong commitment to helping every child feel valued and celebrated.
Daevan Vaughns
Vice President
Daevan Vaughns is the Vice President of Sparkle of Joy, supporting planning and outreach efforts to uplift children in foster care. With a background in sales and a passion for mentoring youth, he brings strong communication and leadership to the organization’s mission.
Jennifer Edwards
Treasurer
Jennifer Edwards is the Treasurer of Sparkle of Joy, managing finances to support the organization’s mission. With a background in life insurance sales, she brings budgeting expertise, financial responsibility, and a deep passion for serving children in foster care.
Ja’Dae Vaughns
Secretary
Ja’Dae Vaughns is the Secretary of Sparkle of Joy, supporting operations through organization and clear communication. A Criminal Justice graduate of Sam Houston State University, she brings dedication and heart to serving children in foster care.
